Background

Co-Director Bradley Mutch had always had the vision and idea of wanting to create a song about mental health for mental health, showcasing the power of both music and mental health together through various local Ōtautahi artists.

He approached Creative Director and music producer Caleb McNicholl who jumped on board the project and produced the song. He gathered over 20 artists who wrote the song in under two weeks and then filmed the music video for it within a week, thanks to Rahil Uddin’s incredible skills with cinematography.

The music video premiered at the start of New Zealand’s inaugural Youth Mental Health Summit at Parliament on 4th March, 2026.
